    SKN SEMI AUTOMATIC STAR DELTA OIL IMMERSED MOTOR STARTER
    (7.5 TO 60HP)
    Starter is ruggedly constructed, totally enclosed and fixed in cast iron/sheet metal box. The enclosure is dust and Vermin Proof. Press the start Knob (Green) to run the motor in 'STAR' positon. When the motor has attained normal speed (i.e. 80 to 90%), press the run knob (Yellow) to bring the motor to 'DELTA' position. Press Stop knob (Red) to stop the motor. Thermal, bimetallic overload relay, triple pole accurately calibrated to provide protection against overloads.

Starter
  • BSD
    Oil Immersed Starters are designed for use on voltages up to 440 V. The main body and oil tank is made of sheet metal. The enclosure both moisture and dust proof. These units are provided with heavy type copper contacts. These are made from hard drawn electrolytic copper section : arcing contact and main contact. The overload is of magnetic relay direct acting type with oil dashpot time lag. As a standard. Under voltage protection is provided by a closing type solenoid coil.

    SKN Starter is ruggedly constructed, totally enclosed and fixed in sheet metal frame for wall mounting. An easily removable cover made of steel sheet completely encloses the overload relay and connection terminals to ensure protection form dust and weather. Oil tank made of deep drawn sheet is fixed with the lower part of the sheet metal frame and can be easily removed by loosening nuts on the left and right hand sides. The enclosure is dust and Vermin Proof.

    Press the star knob to run the motor in 'STAR' position. It will automatically change over to 'DELTA' by means of a time lag relay (timer) which is mounted (inside cover) at the right hand side top of the starter.

    The relay (timer) is adjustable within the range 3-12seconds or 5-20 seconds marked as MIN-MAX

    BENTEX-SKN Â DIRECT-ON-LINE AIR BREAK Motor Starter meets the need for high reliability in both Industrial and Agricultural applications. They are designed for DOL switching of AC Motors up to 10 HP (7.5 kw) at 415V three phase and upto 3 HP (2.23 kw) 220V single phase and offer comprehensive motor protection against overload, single phasing and unbalanced voltage.
